We Build More Than a Card Game
At Next Play, we're all about turning game day into the ultimate learning experience – in your living room, at the stadium, or anywhere in between. We believe the best way to actually understand football isn't by staring at a rulebook, it's by having a deck of cards in your hand that reacts to the same plays unfolding on screen in real time.
Our mission is to be a customer-centric sports company that makes watching sports more educational, interactive, social, and fun. We're a small team of former players, coaches, product builders, and die-hard fans who got tired of watching football alone on the couch, so we built something that turns every snap into a reason to lean in, call the play, and compete with the people sitting next to you.
We started with the Next Play Football Edition Card Game.
That first run started as a side project between a few friends who wanted a better way to watch football with the people they cared about, sketched on napkins after Sunday games and tested at more tailgates than we can count. Every card in the deck is tied to a real play, so as the game on screen unfolds, your hand does too – you're not just reacting to what the announcers say, you're playing along.
So, whether you're grabbing a deck of cards, jumping into a football showdown, or watching the next big snap, Next Play puts you in the action by making every moment of the game more interactive and fun. New fans pick up the rules of the sport without ever feeling like they're studying, and longtime fans get a fun way to interact with the football game.
